No day but today! We are thrilled to present our next production — RENT by Jonathan Larson. An iconic modern classic and a pop cultural phenomenon, this Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning musical will rock out at Farmers Alley Theatre this summer from June 23 to July 7.
Based loosely on Puccini's La Boheme, Jonathan Larson's RENT is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. It follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. Tickets are on sale now for this passionate, exuberant, and joyous musical.
If you liked our productions of Next to Normal or Fun Home, then you won’t want to miss RENT!
